So, the deadline for Fall of the Honor Guard was today and I got called in to work all day...so I am stuck trying to catch up with the last touches to the book.

1am and trying to publish this...cause I promised it would be done...

I guess I suck at deadlines.



You'll be hearing from me soon when I finally submit the text files to publish.

Have you ever come to the end of a project? One where you're working with somebody else...

And then they say it's certainly not done?

I'm there right now.

Fall of the Honor Guard is kicking my butt. And I'm convinced that it is tied off with a nice little bow to lead us off into Vesuvius' Revenge.

My coauthor is disagreeing though...

It's a tiresome thought.

Not that disagreements aren't going to happen. They are going to occur every once in awhile.

But...I think it has come to a conclusion...

He thinks it needs something more.

Perhaps...

But I think it is at a point where it could be concluded.

Publication Update

I keep on keeping on...I think...

Yea, I don't really know what I meant by that...

I am in a really weird zone...

My mindset is far beyond me right now...

Out of my control...

And so...I am doing something crazy...

I am setting a due date for Fall of the Honor Guard (War of the Zealot Empire #4) and I am going to tell you it now...







July 26, 2014 will be the official release date of this book. It will definitely be available in paperback.

Breaking news!

Fall of the Honor Guard (War of the Zealot Empire #4) is due to be published on July 26!

This book will be available in paperback on that date.

Hardcover is a possibility, but that might follow a few days.

There is no set date for the release of the eBook. That will be a few extra weeks.

Update: Fall of the Honor Guard

Fall of the Honor Guard is just about ready for publication.

We are not done yet. It is going longer than we had planned.

Also...for those of you who are also wanting to read Vesuvius' Revenge...we have decided that this piece is unfinished...

We will be adding more to Vesuvius' Revenge and...I guess that will extend the publication and whatnot.

Sorry, I got a hiccup in my thought process.

It seems to be happening to me quite often lately.

I almost repeated a scene from Dorm Haze right into the second book, which seems dumb...

So, I need to find my focus and make these mind hiccups go away.

Anybody got a good scare?

Any hiccup curing ideas? It has to apply to mental...not real hiccups.

Now that I remember...what I was talking about...

Oh right! I was thinking about publication and stuff...because there has been timing issues and hiccups in my brains...

My coauthor and I had hoped to have "Fall of the Honor Guard" published sometime this month...but I am starting to worry about whether this book will even be finished by the end of this month. It is getting quite difficult to finish.

I mean...we only have about three more chapters to go, but it moving very slowly due to time constraints with the rest of our lives and the hiccups happening to our tired minds.

I might have to take a break from writing this summer to rest up and juice up for the fall school semester.









NAH!







You know I cannot resist writing, no more than a nerd can resist reading their favorite novel over the summer vacation.

Besides, my summer vacation will be longer than most Americans' summer vacation will be. My semester won't even start until October.



Sooo...I guess this comes full circle and I am finally reminded of what I started this post for.

Publication dates are...far away...

Since Fall of the Honor Guard is not yet finished, and we are not entirely sure of how long it will take us to finish the last few chapters. (We really really want this final piece to be perfect before we finally publish the entire series.) So we will not be releasing publication dates for a while.

We do not want to mess up, under the possibility that it might take us longer than expected to finish "Fall of the Honor Guard"



So, we still do not know when we will be publishing the last of the "War of the Zealot Empire" series.

We won't publish book 5 before book 4...so it only makes sense that "Vesuvius' Revenge" and "Return of the Outcast" must wait for the completion of "Fall of the Honor Guard" so sorry...

Publication Dates are Coming

Just four or five chapters will finish Fall of the Honor Guard...

Why four or five? Cause we are not sure how many more pages we will need to finish up this ending.

Upon completion, I will be releasing publish dates for Fall of the Honor Guard, Vesuvius' Revenge and Return of the Outcast.




In the meantime...I've caught the flu and I will be sleeping it off.

Yuck.

Delaying Publication

It seems to be getting difficult. Delays are happening to the completion of "Fall of the Honor Guard"

I'm getting quite a few messages asking about when this book and the next ones are coming out.

Patience people...

We only started publishing this series last year...sometime around August if I remember correctly.

Most authors have years between each book and we have already published Entangled Hearts, Sins of an Empire and Vesuvius' Rise. And that's just the books I have published with my coauthor.

You guys don't even know what work goes into the publishing part of it all.

It's not just handed over to some expert or something like that...

I do all the work myself.

I format the internal pages...

I make the cover.

I upload every single file.

I create the chapter starters...





In the end, it is more work than just the writing...

We still have quite a few chapters to go, and after it is completed, I will have to format it for publication.

So...

fans...

readers...

random readers passing through my blog...

The publication of Fall of the Honor Guard won't come for quite some time. And it will not be until it is published that we can release publication dates for Vesuvius' Revenge and Return of the Outcast.
