The monster followed at his heels, chasing him across the large yard. “Yamimash!” Mark called out, “Yaaaaaamiiii!”
“Come back, Mark!” the monster taunted in Aaron’s voice.
“You’re not Yami!” Mark roared with outrage.
“Come back here, Markiplier!” the monster roared back at him.
Mark stopped and turned on his heels, “What did you do to Yamimash?!”
He clenched his hands into fists, waiting for the creature to come to him. He would not keep running. Instead, he would show his braver colors. After all, if Jack could take out two creepy toothy monsters on the bridge, he could take down one slender-ish monster.
“I ain’t scared a’ you!” Mark shouted, angrily, “Come at me!”
“Maaaaarrrrrrk!” the monster came upon him, towering at a monstrous twelve feet high.
Without hesitation, Mark slammed a fist into the beast’s chest. At first, it seemed unfazed, but as he continued berating it with punches it crumpled over. It even started to groan with pain.
“I will defeat YOU!” Mark screamed.
“Maaaaarrrrrk!” a voice caught Mark’s attention.
The monster took advantage of his attention deflection and slashed at his face. He let out a howl of pain as he stumbled backwards, away from the tendrils coming out of the monster’s back. It continued towards him, advancing with all of its tentacles bared.
“You BAAAAACK OOOOOFF!” Mark screamed at it. He fell backwards, landing on his back.
“Mark! Hold on buddy!” the voice called from the distance.
Mark pushed himself off the ground, flinging himself at the creature. He bared his fists and thrusted his knuckles into its chest again. But, before he could punch it again, its tentacles took a hold of each of his wrists. He struggled against it, but it pulled his arms apart.
“Let go! Let go! Let GOOOOOO!” Mark screamed.
“Mark!” the creature chuckled.
“NOT TODAY!” overhead, a figure came flailing in, swinging two pistols. Every single shot missed the target, though one bullet hit Mark’s arm.
“GODDAMMIT WAAAAAADE!” Mark screamed in pain and outrage.
“I was just trying to help!” Wade shouted.
Wade struggled as a tentacle grabbed his leg in midair. It flung him around, causing him to become disorientated. One of the guns fell from his hand as it lifted him high off the ground, dangling upside down.
