“Well, the slenderman was…” Dexter paused, thinking over his words. He grimaced, as if unsure of what he wanted to say.
“Let’s just say, Markimash escaped,” the bear interjected.
“The…what?” Mark turned to the bear with raised eyebrows, “That’s a thing? Why is that a thing? I mean…I know the fanfictions exist…but I didn’t think…”
“It started off as the online reflection of Yamimash,” Tiny Box Tim explained, “And it absorbed the Markimash…and after a while…it just took off.”
“But it’s slenderman…it can’t be one of you guys!” Mark protested.
“That’s the thing with the slenderman,” Dexter explained, “It has so much fame that it gets fed regularly. It doesn’t need to be part of the group to survive. It feeds off of the Markimash…the strength of it just keeps going.”
“How do we stop it?” Mark asked.
“You don’t do anything!” Dexter said sternly, “You, like the moron you are, need to just go back to your gaming room and continue with the next episode.”
“But…the slenderman!” Tiny Box Tim protested.
“We can’t do anything about him at the moment,” Dexter waved off the comment.
“That’s not true, I’d like to think the youtubers could do something about it,” the bear interjected, “You know?”
“Power to the gamers!” the pug raised its adorable little paw, which caused its pink hat to fall off.
Mark smiled, admiring the strange characters. They were putting so much faith into what he could do, even if he was not sure what he needed to do. They needed him, and even though he barely knew them, he felt he needed to help them.
“Mark?” Tiny Box Tim interrupted his train of thought.
“I’d like to help,” he said to the box, “I want to do everything in my power to help you out.”
Tiny Box Tim smiled up at him, “I know you do Mark! You’re such a good person!”
“You stuuuuupid morons,” Dexter growled.
“Yea! Let’s do this!” Bonnie lifted a fist to shake it in the air.
“We’re still not cool, Tiny Box Tim,” Dexter stated.
“Wait? What? Why?!” Mark exclaimed.
“I’ve got some choice words, but now is not the time,” Dexter waved off the topic.
