Bad Dreams with Good Friends part 36

“RUN!” Sean leaped to his feet with a loud howl.

“What? I can’t run yet! Too tired!” Mark groaned.

“Run you fuckers! I said run! Somethin’s comin’ our way!” Sean shouted, bouncing around in a panic.

Mark hopped to his feet and quickly turned to help Bob. That was when he saw it coming. He barely had time to react to it, as it slammed into the ground nearby. He could hear Bob yelling with pain and fear.

“What’d I tell ya! I told ya to run!” Sean shouted over the roar of the ground exploding.

“Shut up and run!” Felix screamed, “Run! Ruuuuun!”

Mark kept a hold on Bob’s arm as he ran after Sean, Felix and Wade. They took the lead with a quick sprint. None of them dared to look back to see what the ground was doing behind them. They were all certain that would lead to injury and death.

They hurried across the vast expanse of whiteness. They could not see anybody for miles. There were not even figures of them. Mark could only hope and wish for their survival. He did not want to think about his little biscuit getting hurt.

“Mark! Hurry up!” Bob shouted, dragging Mark forward.

“Can we stop running yet?” Felix shouted, with a pain-filled outcry.

“We have to get clear of that sphere!” Wade turned to point.

“Wade! Pay attention!” Bob shouted, as he nearly ran over Wade’s feet.

“Just keep runnin’! We’ll get clear of the damage,” Sean urged them.

“Do we even know where we’re going?” Mark called to Sean.

“No, but I think we’re best gettin’ far far away from that thing!” Sean responded.

“Look! There! The brick walls!” Wade pointed.

Mark looked to see the graffiti covered walls. They looked very similar to the ones they had walked between before. But, they did not seem quite the same. Perhaps it was the giant spray painted ‘BLUE BALLS’ covering a large spans of the wall he could see.

“What’s over there?” Sean asked.

“Mark, Bonnie and I went through there!” Wade gasped and huffed.

“It should be safe!” Mark added.

“Alright! I trust ya!” Sean turned, leading the way into the aisle of brick walls.

“What if it follows us?” Felix cried out.

“Don’t be such a big bubble blowin’ baby!” Mark shouted.
