“Mark! You and Wade get outta here!” Bonnie called. He was standing his ground, waving the wand back and forth as he proclaimed the same spell words over and over.
“NOOOO!” Mark roared, “Tiny Box Tim!”
“Mark, let’s get out of here!” Wade grabbed Mark’s arm, trying to pull him away.
Mark was about to jerk his arm away, when he saw the tendrils turned to slices of ribbon. The little box leaped up away from the monster, slicing with a katana-like sword. He smirked as he brought it up over his head, bringing it downwards to bear down on the monster. He sliced mercilessly at the creature’s head, refusing to let up.
Before he knew what was going on, Bonnie had gotten a hold of both Mark and Wade. He dragged them along, pulling them away from the yard-turned-battlefield. Mark had a feeling of awe still, wanting to see the box fight.
“Come on! We have to get out of here!” Bonnie cried out.
“What was that thing?!” Wade shouted, over the sounds of screeches that came from behind them.
“More importantly, what does it want?!” Mark added.
“Obviously it wants you, Mark!” Wade stated loudly.
“It’s the Markimash!” Bonnie explained hurriedly. They broke free of the yard, blasting through the fence like it was paper. Bonnie did not take a scratch of damage from it either. “It’s been feeding and growing stronger!” Bonnie went on, “We can’t take it alone!”
“Bonnie! I’ve got questions!” Mark said, looking back over his shoulder.
“Later, Mark!” Bonnie gave him a solid yank, forcing him to pay more attention to where he was going.
“Mark, why are you in a suit?” Wade asked.
“Questions later!” Bonnie barked.
“You mooooorons!” they heard Dexter shout, “I have to take care of everything? You dinguses can’t even do one simple task!”
Mark’s head spun to see Dexter running towards them. His running looked like nothing faster than walking, with his short little legs. He seemed weighted down by his clenched fists as well.
“You stuuuuuupid ingrates left the door OPEN!” Dexter yelled, angrily.
“We can’t bother with that right now!” Bonnie shouted.
“What? What are you doing?” Dexter barked as they ran past him.
“Dexter! Run!” Mark called, “The Markimash is behind us!”
“YOU IDIOOOOOOOTS!” Dexter shouted, as he turned around to run after them.
“Bonnie! We have to stop and get Dexter!” Mark shouted.
“Mark’s right! He can’t keep up! We have to help him!” Wade added.
“No time!” Bonnie protested, “He’ll be fine!” Mark doubted those words as they were spoken. “We have to get you two away from the Markimash!”
“But Tiny Box Tim and Dexter need us!” Mark protested.
“We have to go back!” Wade twisted his hand, feeling irritated at the rubbing of an animatronic’s hand around his wrist.
